Sonny and Susie's Wedding - Orchard Creek Lodge Wedding DJ
Sacramento Wedding DJ
We had an absolute ball at Sonny and Susie's wedding in early January! They wanted to have nothing but fun, creative ingredients fill their celebration. We had vocalists, musicians, hula dancers, surprise musical performances, a surprise from Sonny to Susie, and on and on!! I could hardly keep up, lol.
One of my favorite moments of the evening was their 'Shadow' Grand Entrance. I was able to introduce them to their guests at the start of the reception by utilizing a big screen with a special spotlight behind it. With Sonny and Susie placed just right, I told their story...they posed just right...I turned on and off the spotlight to create their shadows, and we culminated with them walking straight through it as it rose into the ceiling. It was quite a moment, for quite an evening!

Foresthill Wedding DJ - Forest House Wedding
Sacramento Wedding DJ
Maddie and Dan married Friday night at the Forest House Lodge.
They were the first couple in all of my years who chose not to do a first dance! They are a bit shy and not 'Spotlight' people. So, as we progressed through a really tasty family style dinner, toasts that were thoughtful and funny, and a cake cutting ceremony that was as sweet as the cake itself, I opened the dancefloor in our less than traditional fashion. Although Dan and Maddie didn't dance at all on this evening, their guests partied with me until we moved the party into the bar!
The newlyweds made sure to swing over and compliment my job well done, and expressed the joy in seeing their guests dance the night away!
Everyone sung their lungs out to 'Don't stop believin' and the lights came up!

Flower Farm Wedding - Loomis Wedding DJ
Sacramento Wedding DJ
Kat and Alex waited until right before the Christmas Holiday to exchange their vows, in a very intimate setting at the Flower Farm Inn in Loomis.
Their guest list was 28 of their closest friends and family, and they sectioned off the barn with floor-to-ceiling hand sewed curtians, where the candlelit ceremony was to take place on one side, and the dinner reception on the other.
In our planning meeting, they expressed a possible concern that no one may dance, and that things may just end early. (I don't think so!!)
Their ceremony was perfection, I wish I knew who their caterer was, because the cocktail hour was filled with amazing passed Hors D Ouevres. We invited guests to the 'Other Side' for dinner, and they had one long dinner table dressed to the nines! Bread and salad service, a celery bisque was the next course, the entree was a New York Steak with a vegetable medley and red potatoes, the next course was the first dessert course, which was a fruit compote with whipped cream, and the finale was the wedding cake. It was first class, let me tell ya'.
Then came the dancing.....and for just 30 people, we rocked it for two solid hours! At one point, I laughed on the mic that Kat and Alex thought none of their guests would dance, and I was thrilled that they were proven wrong!! It was a great evening...
